I can relate only too well. I've been moving toward becoming healthier both physically and mentally. But for me that means losing weight, building muscle and setting goals. Not losing weight and seeing actual results does make it so much harder to stay motivated. It might help if you set specific goals. Maybe push yourself a little harder to do certain things such as if you walk 1 mile one week, push yourself to go a mile and half the next week.

You'll get no argument from me there, Harmonia. My only wish is that it was as fiber-rich as refried beans.

I probably shouldn't comment until I've read more of your blog, but I'm going to anyway. I was just thinking that recording everything you are eating probably isn't going to do anything for you except keep you focused on food. I don't know. It kind of borders on obsessing about food. But, I don't want to tell you what to do. I just want you to know that you are great and beautiful the way you are...fat or not. And I wish for you peaceful dealings when it comes to your body, weight and food issues. I know what it is like to starve, diet, gain, lose, purge, binge, and now accept. Out of all of them I have found size positivity to be the best and most empowering thing I've ever allowed myself. Well, sorry to ramble or preach. I know you will find what works for you best. :) kristin
